When we launched this micro-blog, it was solely because BDF Hopkins were the foreclosure mill for Midfirst. However, clearly they didn’t like our articles and commentary and have decided to change to the Wolves of Foreclosure, Mackie Wolf.
John R. Osborne, Jr. joined Mackie Wolf in 2024 as a Senior Litigator. Prior to joining MWZM he practiced solo for ten years specializing in business litigation and estate law. He spent the first thirteen years of his legal career at a mortgage servicing boutique which represented mortgage lenders and servicers from origination to default including title review, evictions and bankruptcy proceedings. He earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University in 1993 where he also played football and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. After working several years for SBC (now AT&T) he attended law school at Texas Tech University where he earned his Juris Doctorate along with a Masters in Business Administration in 2000. John is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is licensed in the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts in Texas. He is also a member of the Houston Mortgage Bankers Association.
